Sail boats

Does anyone like sail boats that much? I guess they are kind of fun for a difference once in a while but i would not like to have one. I also think they are too much work to get them working and running smoothly. It takes more than one persont o handle a sail boat. So if you get invited to ride on a sail boat be ready to work on it!

What do you look for in a boat?

What do you look for in a boat when buying one? I look for reliability, i look for what meets my needs and something that is not too expensive for what i am doing with it.

Some boats too expensive?

I think that sometimes some boats are over priced just because of their name. Do you really like this or do you like it, because you are buying into the brand? I don't think that this is quiet right too me but it could just be me, wat does everyone else think?

The ruined perfect boating weekend

I am sure most of everyone that owns a boat has had a perfectly planned out weekend with all your friends and on your boat ruined by the weather.  I absolutely hate when that happens, because here you think you are going to have a perfect weekend/day out on the water with your friends or family.  I think it is one of those things that really grinds your gears.  Its those sudden storms that just kill the weekend, the ones that the weatherman doesn't predict.  Yeah those, those stupid storms or  fronts that cause an unexpected storm to brew or a windy cloudy  day.  One time this happened to me a couple of years ago and from now on i really don't trust the weather sometimes.  

Your favorite type of boat

What is everyone's favorite type of boat?
Mine is a wakeboard boat or more specificly a mastercraft x-1, i just love wakeboard boats because of their style and i love to go toubing, skiing and wakeboarding behind them. They are expensive for some compared to the normal speed boat but some of them are really good quality.

What is your favorite type of boat and why?

I find it interesting of what other people's intrests are.
